Lilley Class

At our school, we provide a rich, balanced and ambitious curriculum that nurtures pupils who are kind, inquisitive, resilient, hard-working, creative and ambitious. Our long-term planning ensures that children experience a broad range of meaningful learning opportunities—from exploring rivers, rainforests and global food journeys to investigating forces, light, sound and the achievements of past civilisations.

Through carefully sequenced units across subjects, pupils are encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, make connections and develop a deep understanding of the world around them. We design learning that challenges all pupils while building their confidence, independence and perseverance. Creativity is woven throughout the curriculum, enabling children to express themselves through art, music, performance and purposeful writing.

Above all, our curriculum aims to inspire every pupil to achieve their best, to value themselves and others, and to approach new learning with curiosity, courage and pride.
